Welcome to OCAtheists.com, the online home of Orange County Atheists, a group for like-minded people in and around Orange County, CA. We welcome all comments and questions about the site, about us, and about religion and atheism in general.

OC Atheists exists primarily as a social gathering group, meeting once a month over dinner and drinks to discuss religion, politics, and the news of the day. Our meetings are typically on a weeknight around 7:30pm at a restaurant in Orange County. We'd love to have you at our next meeting!

Join us Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30PM at the International House of Pancakes at 18542 MacArthur Blvd in Irvine, near John Wayne Airport. There's also a pre-dinner gathering at the El Torito across the street, starting at 6PM. We'll very likely be upstairs at the IHOP.

Let's get the ball rolling!

With "In God We Trust" falling by the wayside, we've kinda lost focus on the other things that city councils are doing - namely, invocations. As we've discussed before, some cities are worse than others in terms of their offenses, but it's my firm belief that we could get a lot done with just a few people willing to going to their city's meetings and meet with officials (together with others in OC Atheists).
